Erasmus+ credit mobility at Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI), Malaysia

Dr. Orsolya Endrődy, Associate Professor and Ms. Pálma Farkas, Education Administrator, participated in a teaching and administrative mobility at the Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI) University in Malaysia. As a result of the successful meeting, students of our institute will spend up to five months in Tanjong Malim under the framework of Erasmus MA and PhD student mobility. Following the successful discussions with the Rector, Professor Datto Amin, a bilateral Memorandum of Understanding (so called MoU) between the two universities will be established, which will help in the recognition of credits and support each other's research. The programme will be implemented through a type of Erasmus ICM, or credit mobility. Orsolya Endrődy, our lecturer, is the facilitator of the application and the contact. The application will provide two more visiting lecturers. They - Dr. Erzsébet Csereklye and Prof. Nguyen Luu Lan Anh whom will be visiting Malaysia in the next academic year. On the Malaysian side, the newly established link is being established by Prof. Bahbibi Rahmatullah is a well-known digital education and early childhood researcher. Their joint research with our institute can be found here: https://akjournals.com/view/journals/063/11/4/063.11.issue-4.xml

The link is part of the Southeast Asia Linkage Scheme run by our institute. It was recently recognised by the ERASMUS-Tempus office for its vitality by awarding our university a prestigious prize for innovation. Other members of the network include the University of Hue in Vietnam, Chiang Mai University in Thailand and Seoul University in South Korea.
