LS4VET (Lesson Study for VET) - Teachers’ collaboration for Improving the Quality of Vocational Education and Training

Our international project titled „LS4VET (Lesson Study for VET) - Teachers’ collaboration for Improving the Quality of Vocational Education and Training” started on 1 September 2020, coordinated by the Institute of Intercultural Psychology and Education of ELTE PPK and led by Prof. Dr. János Győri. The project aims to adapt the method of Lesson Study to the sector of vocational education and training. The adaptation process is carried out in the close collaboration of expert partners (university teacher educators) and VET schools in four partner countries (Hungary, Austria, the Netherlands and Malta). The kick-off meeting was held in October, in an online video conference due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The main objective was to create a solid basis for our tree-year-long collaboration. The agenda included:

  • Partners’ introduction (fields, activities, interests in the project).
  • Project aims, objectives, work plan, and outcomes (general overview by the Coordinator).
  • Short summary of the Intellectual Outcomes (by the IO leaders).
  • Discussions and agreements on accompanying activities (PM, QM, Dissemination).
  • Launching the first activities related to IO1.

More information about the project is available on the project website.
